Starting Tuesday, February 14th, kickaction.ca is inviting young women to connect, speak out and blog on issues they care about during a month-long blogging carnival!

From Valentine’s Day to International Women’s Day on March 8th, more than 6,000 young women share stories and opinions about a new theme every week. This year, young women will be blogging about Indigenous young women, how values influence their choices, the effect of space on identity and the theme of women in the entertainment industry.

The Carnival kicks off on Valentine’s Day, which is also a commemorative day for missing and murdered Indigenous women. As part of the Indigenous Young Women theme, kickaction.ca welcomes guest bloggers from Missing Justice and the Native Youth Sexual Health Network.

Kickaction.ca is also proud to welcome feminist fashion blogger Julia Caron from the blog À l’allure garçonnière, comediennes DeAnne Smith and Jessica Salomon who will blog about women in comedy, and Hollaback! Winnipeg founder Jodie Layne, to mention only a few guest bloggers!
